Utah State women's basketball (6-16, 1-10 MW) has a two-game road trip this week as the Aggies take on UNLV (11-10, 7-3 MW) on Wednesday, Feb. 5, at 1 p.m. (MT). USU then takes on Boise State (15-8, 7-4 MW) on Saturday, Feb. 8, at 2 p.m.

Senior forward Hailey Bassett became the 10th Aggie to score 1,000 points in her career after scoring 12 points against Boise State (Jan. 18). Bassett currently sits at the No. 8 spot in the career record books with 1,052 points. She needs 54 points to pass Margaret Johns (1980-83) for the No. 7 spot.
HITTING THE CENTURY MARK
Bassett played in her 100th game of her Aggie career in the 83-62 loss at Cal State Fullerton (Nov. 20). Bassett, who has never missed a game in her collegiate career, is tied for the No. 7 spot in the career record books with 117 games played.
SCOUTING THE LADY REBELS
UNLV leads Utah State in the all-time series, 23-4, and has won five straight contests, including a 60-46 win in Logan, Utah, on Jan. 1. This season, UNLV averages 60.1 points per game, while shooting 37.0 percent (466-of-1,258) from the field, 27.2 percent (88-of-324) from behind the 3-point line and 69.8 percent (243-of-348) at the free throw line. The Lady Rebels are led by senior center Rodjanae Wade with 13.7 points and 10.3 rebounds per game, and redshirt senior guard LaTecia Smith with 2.2 assists per game.
Defensively, UNLV allows 58.8 points per game, with opponent shooting 37.7 percent (439-of-1,164) from the floor, 23.4 percent (87-of-372) from behind the arc and 68.6 percent (269-of-392) at the free throw line. Senior center Haley Rydalch leads the team with 0.6 per game, while Wade leads with 2.2 steals per game.
SCOUTING THE BRONCOS
Boise State leads Utah State in the all-time series, 26-10, including a 65-59 win in Logan, Utah, on Jan. 18. This season, Boise State averages 73.1 points per game, while shooting 44.8 percent (655-of-1,461) from the field, 32.9 percent (161-of-489) from behind the arc and 75.0 percent (210-of-280) at the free throw line. The Broncos are led by redshirt junior center Mallory McGwire with 12.2 points and 8.1 rebounds per game, and redshirt senior guard Jayde Christopher with 7.7 assists per game.
Defensively, Boise State allows 67.1 points per game, while shooting 40.3 percent (567-of-1,406) from the floor, 33.7 percent (124-of-398) from behind the 3-point line and 75.8 percent (275-of-363) at the free throw line. The Broncos are led by McGwire with 1.4 blocks per game and Christopher with 1.2 steals per game.
KNOCKING IT DOWN FROM DOWNTOWN
Sophomore guard Steph Gorman has made 51 3-pointers this season to rank No. 6 on the single-season record list. Gorman is just the second Aggie to have made 50-plus threes in back-to-back seasons after making 54 in her freshman campaign. Devyn Christensen (2010-13) is the only other Aggie to make more than 50 3-pointers in back-to-back seasons with 107 makes in the 2012-13 campaign and 64 in the 2011-12 season for the top two spots on the single-season record list.

Senior forward Hailey Bassett ranks third the Mountain West in blocks per game, averaging 1.41 per game on the season, and is tied for fourth in league play, averaging 1.27 blocks per game.

Bassett has totaled 95 blocked shots as an Aggie to rank sixth in the USU career record books. Bassett needs five more to become the sixth Aggie to record 100 blocks in program history.
I'LL TAKE THAT
Sophomore guard Steph Gorman ranks third in the Mountain West and 48th in the nation in steals per game this season, averaging 2.38 thefts per contest. Gorman ranks 41st in the nation in total steals with 50 on the season.
BREAKOUT SEASON
Senior guard Lindsey Jensen-Baker has been having a breakout senior campaign as she has scored in double figures in 16 of the 22 games of the 2019-20 season, including 12 straight to open the season. After averaging 1.8 points and 0.8 rebounds per game over her first three seasons, Jensen-Baker is averaging 12.8 points and 4.4 rebounds per game as a senior. Jensen-Baker has scored 20-plus points in three games, including a career-high 32 points against North Texas (Dec. 16), and recorded her first career double-double with 11 points and a career-high 11 rebounds against Dixie State (Dec. 2).
DOWN TO THE WIRE IN COLORADO
Utah State went down to the wire in both of its games during its Colorado trip, with both contests being decided by one point. The Aggies earned their first Mountain West victory of the season with a 53-52 win over Air Force (Jan. 22), followed by a 56-55 loss to Colorado State (Jan. 25). Both games concluded with a last second shot, with the losing team in each game missing a shot at the buzzer.

USU earned its first Mountain West win of the season with a 53-52 victory in a road contest against Air Force (Jan. 22). The victory snapped a six-game losing streak. Three Aggies scored in double figures as sophomore guard Steph Gorman had 14 points, senior forward Hailey Bassett had 13 and senior guard Lindsey Jensen-Baker had 12.
JENSEN-BAKER IN THE RECORD BOOKS
Senior guard Lindsey Jensen-Baker scored a career-high 32 points in the 66-55 victory over North Texas (Dec. 16). The 32-point performance ties for 18th in scoring on USU's single-game record list. Jensen-Baker is the first Aggie to score at least 30 points since Olivia West had 32 at UC Irvine (Nov. 10, 2017).
SECOND QUARTER BURST
Utah State has outscored its conference opponents, 165-146, during the second quarter in league play, and has outscored opponents in seven Mountain West games this season.
CONSISTENT SCORERS
The Aggies have had at least three players score in double figures in all but six of Utah State's games this season. Senior forward Hailey Bassett (13.9 ppg) has scored in double figures in 19 games, senior guard Lindsey Jensen-Baker (12.8 ppg) has scored in double figures in 16, sophomore guard Steph Gorman (11.2 ppg) has scored in double figures in 13 and senior forward Marlene Aniambossou (8.7 ppg) has scored in double figures in 10.

Utah State has collected 246 offensive boards on the season, and has capitalized on the second-chance opportunities for 231 points compared to opposition's 210. The Aggies are led on the offensive glass by senior forward Marlene Aniambossou (2.4 orpg), redshirt sophomore guard/forward Taylor Franson (2.0 orpg), senior forward Hailey Bassett (1.7 orpg) and senior guard Lindsey Jensen-Baker (1.5 orpg).
SHOOTING LIGHTS-OUT
Utah State had its best shooting night of the season in the 66-55 win over North Texas (Dec. 16). The Aggies shot a season-high 49.1 percent (26-of-53) from the field and 53.3 percent (8-of-15) from behind the 3-point line. Senior guard Lindsey Jensen-Baker and senior forward Hailey Bassett were a combined 72.4 percent (21-of-29) from the floor and 66.7 percent (6-of-9) from behind the arc.
