LOGAN, Utah – Former Utah State women's basketball player Hailey Bassett has signed a contract to play professionally with Mark Basket Marbo Kinna in Sweden for the upcoming 2020-21 season.
"My dream ever since I can remember was to be able to play pro," Bassett said. "Now, I am making that dream happen."

She had eight career double-double outings, recording five in the 2019-20 season, and scored 20-plus points in 10 games during her USU career.
As a senior in the 2019-20 season, Bassett led the Aggies with 13.8 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. She was named to the 2020 Air Force Reserve Mountain West Women's Basketball Championship all-Tournament Team after averaging 23.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.5 blocks and 0.5 steals per game, while shooting 57.7 percent (15-of-26) from the field, 83.3 percent (5-of-6) from behind the 3-point line and 75.0 percent (12-of-16) at the free throw line during the MW Championships.
