SCOUTING THE RAMS
Colorado State leads the all-time series, 20-13, though the Aggies have won four of the past seven contests. In 2019-20, Colorado State swept the regular season series, winning in Fort Collins, 56-55, and then in Logan, 67-61. The Rams finished the 2019-20 campaign with a 12-18 overall mark, and a 6-12 record in league play to finish the season tied for ninth in the Mountain West.

This season the Rams are averaging 84.7 points per game while shooting a league-best 48.4 percent (323-of-667) from the field and 41.5 percent (103-of-248) from behind the 3-point line, as well as 73.7 percent (98-of-133) at the free throw line. Junior guard Tori Williams leads CSU's scorers, averaging 14.6 points per game, while sophomore guard McKenna Hofschild leads the squad with 61 assists on the season. Senior guard Lore Devos leads all Colorado State players on the glass with 8.1 rebounds per game.

Defensively, the Rams have allowed 69.4 points per game, with opponents shooting 39.2 percent (254-of-648) from the field, 29.8 percent (64-of-215) from behind the arc and 70.5 percent (122-of-173) at the free throw line. Williams leads the team in steals with 14, while  Devos lead the squad with 17 blocks.

AN UNUSUAL SEASON
The second game of Utah State's series against San Diego State last week was postponed due to COVID-19 safety protocols. This was the fourth postponement of conference play for the Aggies, as three of the team's first four series' have been interrupted by the virus.

SHE'S NOT SHY
In Utah State's contest against San Diego State, redshirt sophomore guard Shyla Latone erupted for a career-high 30 points in what was the first start of her career. Prior to this outburst, the Cleveland State transfer had totaled 37 points through eight appearances on the season.

30-POINT CLUB
Latone's 30 point outing against the Aztecs is tied for the third-most points scored by a MW player this season, and was the most points scored by an Aggie player since Lindsey Jensen-Baker scored 32 against North Texas on Dec. 16, 2019. This was also the first time a USU player has scored 30-plus points against a Mountain West opponent since Funda Nakkasoglu did so against Wyoming on Feb. 6, 2016.

NOT IN HER HOUSE
After totaling just 10 blocks through the first 80 games of her collegiate career, graduate forward Jessica Chatman has recorded a career-high three blocks in each of USU's past two games. She is currently tied for the team lead with eight blocks on the season.

DOUBLING DOWN
Junior forward Bre Mathews has scored in double figures in each game of conference play. Her streak of four-straight double digit outings is the longest on the team.

SCORERS EVERYWHERE
Nine games in, Utah State has already had six different players lead the team's scoring efforts, the same number the team had the entire 2019-20 season. Eight different Aggie players have reached double-figure scoring in an outing, a number which also matches last season's total.

LOCK IT DOWN
The Aggies currently rank second in the MW in field goal percentage defense, holding opponents to just 37.4 percent shooting from the field this season.

CRASHING THE GLASS
The Aggies currently rank first in the Mountain West and sixth in the nation in defensive rebounds with 32.2 defensive boards per game. They also rank second in the conference in total rebounds per game (44.3). USU had a season-best rebounding margin in its game against UTEP, outrebounding the Miners, 37-24.

CLOSING IN ON 100
USU senior guard Emmie Harris is closing in on 100 career games played, as she enters Wednesday's contest with 97 total appearances, including 36 starts. The lone senior for the Aggies this season, Harris has appeared in all but six games throughout her Utah State career, and had played 77-straight before missing the Dec. 31 contest against Air Force due to injury.
