LOGAN, Utah --- Utah State head women's basketball coach Kayla Ard announced the signings of Tiairra Hill-Brown and Natalie Fraley to National Letters of Intent for the 2022-23 recruiting class on Wednesday.
Hill-Brown began her high school career in Stockton, California, where she helped St. Mary's High School to Sac-Joaquin Section Division 1 Championships in both 2018-19 and 2019-20. A 6-foot-2 forward, Hill-Brown averaged 15.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per game during her junior year and also earned a 2020-21 Chemistry in the Community Academic Award. She is set to finish her high school career this year at Ed W. Clark High School in Las Vegas, Nevada.
"We are excited to add TT to our Aggie family," coach Ard said. "She gives us some size on the roster in our post positions and she fits the way we play so well being able to play on the perimeter and in the paint. She is a good person from a good family and we can't wait for her to be in a Utah State jersey."
The Aggies also welcome Fraley from Kelso High School in Kelso, Washington. A 6-foot point guard, Fraley averaged 21.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 4.3 steals per game as a junior en route to earning all-Region Player of the Year honors. A letterwinner in basketball and volleyball, Kelso was a nine-time Scholar Athlete in the Greater St. Helens League.
"Natalie is a great addition to our squad," coach Ard said. "She has great size on the perimeter and her basketball IQ is off the charts. She has a great work ethic on and off the court along with good leadership qualities. She plays with a chip on her shoulder on both ends of the floor. We love what her and her family are about and she is a great fit for our family."
Utah State opened its 2021-22 season with a 83-78 win versus Westminster College on Tuesday and will host Cal State Fullerton inside the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum on Saturday, No. 13, at 2 p.m.
