Box Score LOGAN, Utah --- Utah State women's basketball lost at BYU on Tuesday, 101-74. Five Aggies scored in double figures in the effort.
BYU came out hot in the first quarter, outscoring the Aggies, 36-11, and shooting better than 68 percent from the floor and 50 percent from behind the arc. Utah State found its groove as the game progressed as the Cougars only outscored the Aggies by two over the final 30 minutes of gameplay.
The Aggies shot 36.9 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from 3-point territory in the game, including 43.8 percent from the floor and 46.7 percent from behind the arc in the second half. Senior Emmie Harris scored 17 points, two short of her career high, to lead Utah State. Harris also added three rebounds, six assists and two steals. Senior Kaylin Randhawa added 13 points, three rebounds and four steals in the game. Senior Laci Hawthorne added another 12 points while senior E'Lease Stafford scored 11 points alongside three assists. Junior Adryana Quezada was USU's final scorer in double figures with 11 points and three rebounds.
The Aggies return to the court and travel eastward to face Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday, Nov. 27, at noon (MT).
