MUNCIE, Indiana - Utah State women's basketball (5-4) lost, 81-55, to Ball State (6-3) on Saturday in Muncie, Indiana.
The Cardinals got off to a hot start as Ball State outscored USU, 23-11, in the first quarter. The Aggies were close in scoring in the middle periods as BSU outscored USU, 37-30, in the second and third stanzas. However, the Cardinals outscored the Aggies, 21-14, in the final quarter to seal the 81-55 Ball State victory.

Adryana Quezada led the Aggies with her third double-double of the season 14 points and 10 rebounds. Junior guard
Shyla Latone also scored in double figures with 12 points.
Utah State finished the day shooting 35.0 percent (21-of-60) from the field, 23.8 percent (5-of-21) from behind the arc and 88.9 percent (8-of-9) at the free throw line. Ball State shot 43.3 percent (29-of-67) from the floor, 43.2 (16-of-37) from behind the 3-point line and 100.0 percent (7-of-7) at the charity stripe.
USU will next take on Montana (7-2) in Missoula on Monday, Dec. 20, at 6 p.m.
