Utah State Women's Basketball Loses 93-55 Against New Mexico
LOGAN, Utah - Utah State women's basketball (4-18, 2-15 MW) lost 93-55 against New Mexico (11-3, 8-3 MW) on Sunday afternoon inside the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.

Taylor Franson finished with the first double-double of her career in the game after logging 14 points and a game-high 13 rebounds. She was joined in double figures by graduate forward
Jessica Chatman with 13 points as the Aggies finished the game shooting 31.7 percent (20-of-63) from the floor, 13.6 percent (3-of-22) from behind the 3-point line and 80.0 percent (12-of-15) at the charity stripe.
The Lobos finished with five players in double figures, led by LaTascya Duff with a game-high 28 points. New Mexico led wire-to-wire in the contest, shooting 46.8 percent (36-of-77) from the floor, 40.5 percent (15-of-37) from behind the 3-point line and 66.7 percent (6-of-9) at the free throw line.
The teams return to the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum court on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, playing the second of the two-game series.
