LOGAN, Utah - Utah State senior defender Imelda Williams scored the equalizer in the 87th minute against Colorado College, but the Tigers scored the golden goal a little over two minutes into overtime to give the Aggies a 2-1 loss on Sunday morning inside the RSL Soccer Complex.

The goal for Williams was her first of the season as junior defender Taylor Garza-Freeman was credited with the assist. Williams collected the ball just inside the 18 and redirected the Garza-Freeman pass into the right side of the goal to tie the match 1-1 in the 87th minute.

Colorado College opened the scoring in the 47th minute when Camille Weaver made an attempt on goal just inside the half line and found the net from distance. The Tigers scored the game winner in the 93rd minute behind a screamer from Kiley Suter that found the top-right corner with the assist being credited to Abby Hubbard.

Utah State was the clear aggressor throughout the match, recording 17 shots to the Tigers' nine, and 12 fouls to the Tigers' eight. USU senior midfielder Ashley Cardozo led both sides with five shots, including three on frame.

Utah State keeper Diera Walton logged four saves, while Colorado College used a pair of keepers in Ally Wakeman, who was replaced after only 10 minutes because of an injury, and Greta Forseth. Wakeman recorded one save, while Forseth tallied four.

Utah State will be back in action on Friday, hosting New Mexico at 11 a.m. The match is scheduled to be played inside the RSL Soccer Complex and fans are limited to a pass list only. The Aggies and Lobos met earlier this season with UNM posting a 3-0 win in Albuquerque.
