LOGAN, Utah – The Mountain West announced its fall all-academic teams Friday and Utah State's football team ranked tied for fourth in the conference as it had 54 student-athletes recognized.
 
Nevada led the Mountain West with 71 all-academic honorees, followed by UNLV (70), Boise State (60), Utah State (54), Fresno State (54), Wyoming (52), New Mexico (47), Hawai'i (44), San José State (41), Colorado State (39), San Diego State (35) and Air Force (31).
 
Senior Justus Te'i earned academic all-Mountain West honors for the fourth time in his career, while fellow seniors Taylor Compton and Brandan Pada both garnered the honor for the third time.
 
Furthermore, four Aggies achieved a 4.0 grade point average during the fall 2020 semester in sophomores Cooper Jones, Cooper Legas and Addison Trupp, and freshman Wyatt Marx.

To be eligible for 2020 Fall Academic All-Conference honors, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better. The athletic contribution/participation requirement has been omitted for this award this year due to the impact of COVID-19.
