NOTES - Aggies Closing Out Non-Conference Slate This Week

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State soccer (6-0-1) wraps up non-conference play this week by hosting Utah (3-3-1) on Thursday, Sept. 16, at 5 p.m., before facing BYU (3-2-1) on the road in Provo on Saturday, Sept. 18, at 5 p.m.

Streaking Aggies
• Utah State closed the 2020 campaign on a three-match winning streak and won four of its last five games of the season. In fact, USU went unbeaten over the final five matches of the season.

• Currently, Utah State is unbeaten in each of its last 12 matches, marking the longest unbeaten streak in USU soccer history.

Best Start Since 2011
Utah State is off to its best start since the 2011 season, when the Aggies won each of their first nine matches of the season.

Common Ground
• Utah State and Utah faced one similar opponent this season as the Aggies posted a 2-0 victory over Northern Colorado. The Utes also posted a win over the Bears this season, a 3-0 triumph in Salt Lake City.

• Utah State and BYU share a pair of common opponents in Weber State and Marquette. The Aggies beat Weber State 1-0 and posted a 2-1 double-overtime victory against the Golden Eagles. The Cougars opened the year with a 5-0 victory over Weber State and then posted a 7-0 victory over Marquette.
