USU junior forward Sara Taylor was named the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week after logging five points on two goals and one assist last week. Taylor scored the Aggies' opening goal in USU's 2-1 double-overtime victory against UVU and also scored the opening goal in USU's 2-1 double-overtime victory against Marquette. Taylor finished the week by assisting on the game-winning goal against the Golden Eagles.
Shaking it Up
• Utah State has used a different starting lineup in each of its first six matches this season.
• The Aggies have used at least 22 players in each of their matches this season, while a season-high 25 players saw action on the pitch against Northern Colorado on Aug. 26.
Series Against UC Riverside
• Utah State is 2-2-2 all-time against the Highlanders of UC Riverside as the Aggies picked up a victory in the first and last meeting. USU and UCR last met during the 2014 season, a 1-0 win for the Aggies in Logan.

Chino Hills Connection
A combined three players between UC Riverside and Utah State call Chino Hills, California, home, including USU sophomore midfielder Alex Day and UCR freshman midfielder Lindsey Turner and UCR senior forward Alexis Vera. In fact, Vera and Day attended the same high school, Chino Hills High School.
