LOGAN, Utah - Utah State closes out the month of January at Nevada on Saturday, Jan. 29, at 8 p.m. (MT). Fans can watch the game live on the CBS Sports Network (Xfinity Ch. 269/753HD, DISH Ch. 158, DirecTV Ch. 221) with Rich Waltz providing play-by-play and Dan Dickau serving as the analyst.
Opening Tips
• Utah State leads the all-time series 39-23 against the Wolf Pack. The Aggies have won each of the last four, but has lost each of the last four inside the Lawlor Events Center. All-time, USU is 13-17 in Reno.
• Utah State appeared to come out of a shooting slump against SDSU, knocking down 49.1 percent (27-of-55) from the floor. It was the best shooting performance allowed by the Aztecs this season and the Aggies were just the third opponent to top 40 percent against SDSU this year.
• Utah State hit 10 3-point baskets against the Aztecs, the second-most allowed by SDSU this season. The Aggies had recorded just 21 3-point field goals in the previous six MW game.
• Utah State's 75 points against the Aztecs were the most by an SDSU opponent this season.
• Utah State held San Diego State without an offensive rebound. It's the fewest offensive rebounds allowed by the Aggies since giving up one to Nevada on Feb. 28, 2021.
• Utah State has recorded five or more steals in all but one conference game this season and have a 15-point advantage in points off turnovers in MW contests. The Aggies have recorded as many or more points off turnovers than their opponents in each of the last five games.
• Although just shooting 43.3 percent from the floor overall in league play (143-of-330), Utah State is shooting 55.2 percent (122-of-221) from inside the 3-point line.
• Utah State has been without its full complement of starters in each of the last six games. (Miller - 6, Eytle-Rock - 2, Jones - 2).
• Utah State's five conference losses this season have come by a combined 19 points and a scoring margin of -3.8. All have been one-possession games going into the final four minutes.
• Sophomore guard
Steven Ashworth is shooting better from beyond the 3-point line than inside it, knocking down 39.8 percent (37-of-93) from distance and 38.5 percent (47-of-122) from inside the arc.
• Ashworth has locked up his counter part over the last two games, holding Boise State's Marcus Shaver Jr. to 1-of-11 shooting, including 1-for-5 from 3, and San Diego State's Trey Pulliam to 0-for-4 shooting from the floor (0-for-1 from 3).
• Forwards
Brandon Horvath and
Justin Bean are the only two players for Utah State to appear and start in every game this season. Junior center

Steven Ashworth are the only other two Aggies to appear in every game for USU this season.
• Bean is one of only 14 players in the nation and the only player in the MW averaging a double-double (18.5/10.2). Bean also leads the MW in defensive rebounds per game (7.45), double-doubles (13), total rebounds per game (10.2), total minutes (706+) and total rebounds (203).
• Bean is fifth in the nation in double-doubles (13), seventh in defensive rebounds per game (7.45) and total rebounds (203), and 12th in the nation in rebounds per game (10.2).
• Bean has scored in double figures in each of the last nine games, while junior guard
Sean Bairstow has scored in double figures in five of the last six games.
