BOISE, Idaho – Utah State women's basketball (5-9, 0-4 MW) lost, 71-47, to Boise State (5-9, 1-2 MW) inside ExtraMile Arena in Boise, Idaho, on Sunday.
Boise State took a 14-8 lead in the first quarter, but the Aggies would hold the Broncos scoreless in the final four minutes to trim the lead to three at 14-11.
A 9-1 Aggie run early in the second quarter gave Utah State the 20-18 lead with five minutes to go. However, the Broncos held the Aggies to just four points in the bottom half of the period to take a 31-24 lead into the half.
Boise State maintained its momentum in the second half, outscoring the Aggies 40-23 in the final two quarters.

Kaylin Randhawa with 11 points and junior guard/forward
Adryana Quezada with 10.
Utah State finished the day shooting 29.5 percent (18-of-61) from the field, 19.0 percent (4-of-21) from behind the arc and 53.8 percent (7-of-13) at the free throw line. Boise State shot 39.7 percent (27-of-68) from the floor, 23.5 percent (4-of-17) from behind the 3-point line and 86.7 percent (13-of-15) at the free throw line.
USU next travels to San Diego, California, to take on San Diego State (7-8, 1-3 MW) on Thursday, Jan. 13, at 7 p.m. (MT).
