Utah State women's basketball (8-17, 3-12 MW) hits the road this week with back-to-back road games as the Aggies take on New Mexico (20-7, 11-3 MW) in Albuquerque on Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 6:30 p.m. USU then travels to Colorado Springs, Colorado, to take on Air Force (13-11, 7-6 MW) on Saturday, Feb. 19, at 1 p.m.

Senior guard
Emmie Harris set the program record for career games played after making her 127th appearance in an Aggie uniform in the 76-66 victory against Wyoming on Jan. 22. She has now appeared in a 133 career games during her five-year Utah State career.
LEADERS IN THE MOUNTAIN WEST
The Aggies rank in the top-three in several statistical categories in the Mountain West in the 2021-22 campaign, including free throws made per game (12.21, 2nd), free throw attempts per game (17.08, 2nd), blocks per game (3.08, 3rd) and offensive rebounds per game (12.04, t-3rd).
Utah State also ranks in the top-10 in various individual categories in the MW as junior guard/forward

SCOUTING THE LOBOS
New Mexico is 20-7, including 11-3 in MW play, in the 2021-22 season. The Lobos average 76.0 points per game while shooting 45.9 percent (759-of-1,652) from the field, 37.3 percent (266-of-713) from behind the arc and 73.3 percent (269-of-367) at the free throw line. UNM allows 67.0 points per game with opponents shooting 39.0 percent (691-of-1,773) from the floor, 32.3 percent (184-of-569) from behind the 3-point line and 70.8 percent (243-of-343) at the free throw line.
Five Lobos average double figures in scoring in senior forward Shaiquel McGruder (14.4 ppg), senior guard Jaedyn De La Cerda (13.1 ppg), senior guard LaTora Duff (12.1 ppg), senior guard/forward Antonia Anderson (11.7 ppg) and senior guard LaTascya Duff (11.6 ppg). McGruder also leads the team in rebounds (6.9 rpb), steals (1.8 spg) and blocks (1.7 bpg), while LaTora Duff leads in assists (5.6 apg).

Saturday's game will mark the 21st meeting between the Aggies and Falcons as Utah State leads the all-time series 14-6, including a 5-2 mark in games played in Colorado Springs. SCOUTING THE FALCONS
Air Force is 13-11, including 7-6 in Mountain West action, in 2021-22. The Falcons average 60.4 points per game while shooting 37.5 percent (541-of-1,443) from the field, 28.5 percent (116-of-407) from behind the arc and 73.3 percent (252-of-344) at the free throw line. Air Force allows 57.6 points per game with opponents shooting 41.5 percent (501-of-1,206) from the floor, 26.9 percent (87-of-323) from behind the 3-point line and 70.5 percent (294-of-417) at the free throw line.
Two Falcons average double figures in scoring in senior forward Riley Snyder (15.1 ppg) and senior guard Cierra Winters (11.3 ppg). Senior forward Haley Jones leads the team in rebounds (9.4 rpg) and blocks (0.6 bpg), freshman guard Jo Huntimer leads in assists (3.3 apg) and Winters leads in steals (2.7 spg).

Adryana Quezada has scored in double figures in nine-straight games, as well as in 10 of the last 11 contests.
Quezada is averaging 18.4 points and 8.6 rebounds in the last 11 games while shooting 54.8 percent (86-of-157) from the field during the stretch.
MOUNTAIN WEST PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Junior guard/forward
Adryana Quezada was named the Mountain West Player of the Week on Feb. 14, after averaging a double-double with 24.5 points and 11.0 rebounds per game to help the Aggies go 1-1 with an 86-83 loss at Colorado State and a 63-55 victory over Boise State at home. Against the Rams,
Quezada registered 29 points, a season-high-tying 15 rebounds and three assists. Against the Broncos, she led the team with a game-high 20 points and stuffed the stat sheet with a team-high seven rebounds to go along with a career-high six steals and two blocks. With Boise State and Utah State tied at 52-52 and just over three minutes to play,
Quezada scored six of the next 11 USU points to help secure the 63-52 victory. She converted an and-1 with 1:34 on the clock to give Utah State the 58-52 lead over BSU. For the week,
Quezada averaged 24.5 points, 11.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals, 2.5 assists and 1.0 blocks per game, while shooting 54.3 percent (19-of-35) from the floor and 64.7 percent (11-of-17) at the free throw line.

Taylor Ignoto officially joins the staff as an assistant coach after spending last season as the director of basketball operations.
Marc Wilson also joins as an assistant coach, bringing 21 years of Division-I coaching experience with him.
