Box Score ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Utah State women's basketball (8-17, 3-12 MW) lost 93-73 to New Mexico (21-7, 12-3 MW) inside The Pit in Albuquerque on Wednesday night.
New Mexico took an early 12-7 lead in the first quarter, but a 6-0 Aggie run after buckets from senior guard

Shyla Latone gave USU the 13-12 edge. The teams continued to go back and forth as UNM led 22-19 with 25 seconds left in the first period. Randhawa knocked down a 3-pointer at the buzzer to tie things up at 22-22 at the end of the stanza.
Utah State struggled in the second quarter as the Lobos outscored the Aggies 29-7 in the period to lead 51-29 at halftime. USU was unable to overcome the deficit in the second half as New Mexico won it, 93-73.
The Aggies were led by Randhawa with 15 points, Latone with 12 and senior point guard
Manna Mensah with 12.
Utah State shot 43.5 percent (27-of-62) from the field, 40.0 percent (10-of-25) from behind the arc and 60.0 percent (9-of-15) at the free throw line. New Mexico shot 45.9 percent (34-of-74) from the floor, 19.2 (5-of-26) from behind the 3-point line and 79.2 percent (19-of-24) at the free throw line.
USU continues its two-game road trip as the Aggies travel to Colorado Springs, Colorado, to take on Air Force (14-11, 8-6 MW) on Saturday, Feb. 19, at 1 p.m.
