LOGAN, Utah - Utah State continues a two-game road trip at Boise State on Saturday, Feb. 19, at 4 p.m.

Opening Tips
• Utah State leads the all-time series against the Broncos, 34-19, but are 10-14 all-time in games played in Boise. BSU has won each of the last three in Boise and each of the last three contests overall.

• During the MW era, games in Boise have all been decided by single digits. Seven of those games have been decided by five points or less.

• Senior forward Justin Bean is averaging a near-double-double against the Broncos during his career, turning in 10.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game against BSU. Bean is also averaging 1.5 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.5 blocks per game against the Broncos.

Bean is the first player since Ben Simmons (LSU) in 2015-16 to average more than 18.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game while shooting better than 55 percent from the floor. Bean and Simmons are the only two players since 1992-93 to record that stat line.

• In addition to excelling on the court, Bean is one of only two players in the Mountain West recently named academic all-district by the Collegiate Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). (Isaiah Stevens, CSU)

• During his career, sophomore guard Steven Ashworth is averaging 5.0 assists per game against the Broncos. Ashworth recorded the first two starts of his career against BSU last season.

• In the first meeting between these two teams in Logan, Ashworth held BSU guard Marcus Shaver to just 1-of-11 shooting as Shaver missed each of his first 10 shots.

• Utah State has outscored seven of its last eight opponents in the paint and is shooting 57.6 percent (279-of-484) from inside the 3-point arc this season.

• Utah State's leading scorers, Bean (18.4 ppg), senior forward Brandon Horvath (13.5 ppg) and junior guard Sean Bairstow (9.7 ppg) are all shooting better than 50 percent from the floor. Bean is shooting 56.0 percent (191-of-341) from the floor, Horvath is shooting 50.7 percent (136-of-268) and Bairstow is shooting 51.4 percent (73-of-142).

Bean has 16 double-doubles this season, tying for seventh in a single season in school history. Bean needs one more double-double to move into a tie for fifth all-time, and two to move into a tie for third all-time.

Bean recorded his 42nd career double-double against Wyoming, finishing with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Bean needs three more double-doubles to move into second place all-time in both USU and MW history.

Horvath (.500) is one of only four players in the MW shooting 50 percent or better from the floor in league play, joining CSU's David Roddy (.584), Nevada's Will Baker (.579) and Wyoming's Graham Ike (.509).

• Utah State is fourth in the nation in total assists (485), sixth in assists per game (18.0), 19th in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.43) and 20th in field goal percentage (.480).

Bean is among the nation's leaders in multiple statistics, ranking fifth in double-doubles (16), 10th in total rebounds (266), 11th in total minutes (963:50), 13th in total field goals made (191), 16th in rebounds per game (9.9) and defensive rebounds per game (7.33), and 22nd in total points (497).
