Opening Tips
• Utah State ranks in the top 50 in the nation in several categories, including defensive 3-point field goal percentage (.222, 14th), scoring defense (62.50, 21st), defensive field goal percentage (.385, 24th), assists per game (19.17, 40th), blocks per game (5.00, 42nd) and scoring margin (+18.67, 50th).
 
• Graduate senior guard Darius Brown II leads the nation with a 6.71 assist-to-turnover ratio. He also ranks seventh nationally with 7.83 assists per game.
 
• Utah State won the 2023 Cayman Islands Classic after defeating Marshall (83-60), Akron (65-62) and SFA (79-49). Junior wing Great Osobor was named the tournament MVP, while redshirt freshman guard Mason Falslev was named to the all-tournament team.
 
• Utah State is an undefeated 4-0 this season when scoring at least 70 points. 
 
• Utah State has outshot its opponent in five of its games this season, as well as in all six games from 3-point range. USU has had more assists than its opponent in all six games, and has had more offensive rebounds in four.
 
• Utah State has outscored its opponents in the paint 276-160 this season. USU is 5-0 when recording more points in the paint than its opponent. USU also has a 99-73 advantage in points off turnovers, 63-45 advantage in second-chance points and 79-23 edge in fast break points.
 
• Danny Sprinkle was named the head men's basketball coach at Utah State on April 7, 2023. 
 
• Utah State is one of just three teams in the nation returning zero points to its 2023-24 roster, joining New Mexico State and Northwestern. The Aggies also have the second-fewest returning rebounds (0.004 percent) and are tied for the second-fewest returning assists (0.003 percent), both behind NMSU.
