LOGAN, Utah – Utah State head softball coach Todd Judge announced the team's 2024 schedule, featuring five non-conference tournaments, as well as games against six in-state rivals and a full slate of Mountain West competition.

Utah State will play against teams from 11 different conferences in 2024.

"We will play a very competitive preseason schedule which includes three tournaments in Southern California, one in Southern Utah and one in Northern California," Judge said. "We will also have quite a few mid-week games against Utah and Idaho teams. The goal was to create a tough non-conference schedule to prepare ourselves for the very difficult Mountain West schedule."

USU opens the 2024 season by competing in the Lynn Russell Miller Classic from Feb. 9-11, in Riverside, California. There, the Aggies will play UC Riverside and Portland State twice, while also taking on Big 12 foe Oklahoma State.

Utah State then returns to Riverside the following week for the Cal Baptist Classic from Feb. 16-18, with the Aggies taking on CSU Bakersfield and Weber State twice, along with a game versus Cal Baptist.

USU will then participate in the Utah Tech Classic in St. George, Utah, from Feb. 23-25, facing Utah Tech and playing two contests against Weber State and Eastern Kentucky.

The Aggies return to the Golden State March 1-3, for the Capital Classic, first taking on BYU and UC Davis in Davis, California, then facing Sacramento State twice and taking on UC Santa Barbara in Sacramento, California.

Following a one-off contest at Utah Tech on Tuesday, March 5, Utah State wraps up non-conference tournament play at the CSUF/LBSU Tournament in Southern California March 8-10, where it will take on Fairfield, North Dakota, Yale, Toledo and Long Beach State. The Aggies then play at Southern Utah on Wednesday, March 15.

Mountain West play begins in San Diego, California, with a three-game series against San Diego State March 15-17. The Aggies then play at Idaho State on Tuesday, March 19, before hosting Boise State at LaRee and LeGrand Johnson Field in the first home series of the season March 22-24.

The Aggies are also set to host Nevada (doubleheader on April 3), Colorado State (April 12-14) and San José State (May 2-4). Other road conference match-ups include UNLV (March 28-30), Fresno State (April 6-7) and New Mexico (April 19-21). Other non-conference matchups include single games at Utah (April 1) and at Utah Valley (April 16).

The Mountain West Tournament will run from May 9-11 in Boise, Idaho. The NCAA Regionals are from May 17-19, Super Regionals are May 23-26 and the Women's College World Series is May 30-June 7.
