Utah State Football Announces 2023 Signing Class
LOGAN, Utah (Wednesday, Feb. 1) – Utah State head football coach
Blake Anderson announced his third signing class on Wednesday, as part of the NCAA National Signing Day. The class, which includes 42 total players, is comprised of 23 high school athletes, 16 junior college transfers and a trio of four-year transfers.
Of the 42 players, 23 signed with Utah State in December and 19 are currently enrolled at Utah State for the 2023 spring semester.
The state of Utah produced the most signees with 20, followed by 10 players from California, three players from Florida, two players from both Georgia and Texas, and one player each from Alabama, Hawaii, Louisiana, Nevada and Italy.
Twenty-one of Anderson's signees are defensive players with nine defensive backs, eight defensive linemen and four linebackers. Of the 20 offensive players that signed, seven are wide receivers, five are offensive linemen and four are running backs, to go along with three tight ends and one quarterback. USU also added one kicker to the group.
The national letter-of-intent signing period for football began on Wednesday, Feb. 1, and runs through Saturday, April 1, 2023.
