Box Score RENO, Nevada – Utah State softball (10-15, 2-3 Mountain West) lost 9-1 to Nevada (24-5, 5-3 MW) on Saturday.
Nevada scored in every inning in game 2 of the series, bringing in one run in the bottom of the first, three in the second, two in the third, one in the fourth and two in the fifth. USU scored its lone run of the day on an RBI single from senior center fielder
Tyler Thornton in the top of the fifth.
Four Aggies saw time in the circle on Saturday as freshman
Tess Bumiller made the start, striking out one batter in 1.2 innings of work. She was relieved by senior
Alyssa Millemon who pitched for 1.1 innings. Freshman Sydney Saldaña came in to pitch the fourth inning, while sophomore
Mia Reynolds pitched the fifth.
