Utah State Softball Falls to Boise State, 9-1

Box Score BOISE, Idaho – Utah State softball (15-21, 6-9 Mountain West) lost 9-1 to Boise State (26-12, 12-2 MW) on Saturday.
 
Utah State scored first as a sacrifice fly from sophomore shortstop Ariel Fifita brought home senior catcher Makenzie Macfarlane in the top of the second.
 
The Aggies maintained their advantage until the Broncos scored six runs in the bottom of the third and three in the bottom of the fourth to lead by eight as Boise State held on for the 9-1 win.
 
Three USU pitchers saw time in the circle on Saturday in sophomore Mia Reynolds, freshman Tess Bumiller and senior Alyssa Millemon.
