Box Score BOISE, Idaho – Utah State softball (15-22, 6-10 Mountain West) lost 11-3 to Boise State (27-12, 13-2 MW) on Sunday.

The Aggies, who have led first in every game of the series, once again took an early lead against Boise State as freshman designated player Grace Matej had a solo home run to left field in the top of the first inning, while sophomore shortstop Ariel Fifita had a two-run homer in the top of the second to give USU the 3-0 advantage.

The Broncos responded quickly, however, scoring 10 runs in the bottom of the second to take a 10-3 lead. Boise State scored one run in the bottom of the fourth as the Broncos held on for the 11-3 win.
