LOGAN, Utah – Utah State softball (11-16, 3-4 Mountain West) lost 13-0 to San Diego State (23-10, 7-3 MW) on Thursday.
Neither team scored in the first inning, but SDSU scored at least one run in each of the next three frames to lead 7-0 heading into the fifth. Both teams were scoreless in the fifth before a big six-run sixth inning for the Aztecs as San Diego State won 13-0.

Jaden Colunga led the Aggies at the plate with a pair of doubles.
Three USU pitchers saw time in the circle as freshman
Hailey McLean struck out four batters in her 3.1 innings of work. She was relieved by freshman Sydney Saldaña, who pitched for 1.2 innings, and senior
Alyssa Millemon, who pitched 1.0 frames.
