LOGAN, Utah - Utah State head soccer coach
Manny Martins announced the signing of graduate transfer Jocelyn Bybee.
Bybee, a forward, joins the Aggies after spending four years at Utah Valley. Last season, Bybee appeared in 11 games for the Wolverines, recording two assists and five shots, placing one on goal. As a freshman in 2019, Bybee started six games and appeared in a total of 20, ranking second on the team with 13 points from five goals and three assists. Bybee earned all-WAC freshman honors and was named to the 2019 WAC all-tournament team. Bybee sat out during the 2020 and 2021 seasons due to injury.
A native of Alpine, Utah, Bybee prepped at Lone Peak High School in Highland, Utah, where she helped her team to a 6A State Championship and played alongside current Aggie
Addy Symonds-Weichers. She earned first-team all-state honors and was named the region MVP her senior year, leading the Knights with 12 goals and 8 assists. Bybee played at the club level for Utah Celtic FC, helping the club to regional championships in 2017 and 2019, a National League championship in 2019, and appearing in the US Youth Soccer National Championships in both 2017 and 2019, reaching the semifinals in the latter.
