SAN JOSE, California - Utah State softball lost 9-0 to San José State on Friday.
The Aggies put a runner in scoring position in each of the first two innings, including loading the bases in the top of the second, but were unable to bring any runners home.
The Spartans were hot in the bottom of the third, scoring all nine of their runs in the frame as SJSU defeated USU 9-0.
Four Aggies saw time in the circle in Friday's game in freshmen Tess Bumiller, Hailey McLean and Sydney Saldaña, along with sophomore Mia Reynolds.
