Aggie Tip-Off
Utah State women's basketball (3-16, 0-8 MW) continues its 2023-24 campaign with a pair of games this week as the Aggies travel to face Nevada (11-10, 5-3 MW) on Wednesday, Jan. 31, at 7:30 p.m. (MT), then return home to host Fresno State (10-11, 3-5 MW) on Saturday, Feb. 3, at 2 p.m., at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.

Scouting the Wolf Pack
• Nevada is 11-10 this season and is off to a 5-2 start to league play. Most recently, it fell at UNLV 92-47 on Saturday afternoon.
• Junior guard Audrey Roden leads the team in both scoring and assists this year with 12.1 points and 2.1 assists per game. Senior forward Lexie Givens averages a team-best 5.8 rebounds per outing.
• The Wolf Pack average 64.7 points while allowing 64.0 points per outing.
Scouting the Bulldogs
• Fresno State is 10-11 this season and is off to a 3-5 start to league play. Most recently, it fell 69-47 to Wyoming on Saturday, and will face Boise State at home on Wednesday before making the trek to Logan.
• Sophomore forward Mia Jacobs leads the team in both scoring and rebounds this year with 15.2 points and 7.0 boards per game. Freshman guard Taija Sta. Maria averages a team-best 4.0 assists per contest.
• The Bulldogs average 67.6 points while allowing 63.5 points per outing.
Series History
• Utah State and Nevada have met up 39 times in a series dating back to 1980.
• Utah State leads the all-time series 20-19, but Nevada has won seven of the past eight meetings.
• Last year, the Wolf Pack swept the series, winning 78-58 in Reno and 68-63 in Logan.
• Utah State and Fresno State have met up 37 times in a series dating back to 2006.
• Fresno State leads the all-time series 30-7, but USU has won three of the past five meetings.
• Last year, USU won 68-58 in Fresno, and Fresno State won 76-61 in Logan.
Last Time Out
• Utah State fell to San Diego State Wednesday night, suffering a 76-62 loss.
• The Aggies got off to a strong start and led the Aztecs at the half 28-26 but an 18-3 run from the visitors in the third quarter was the difference maker.
• Junior guard Cheyenne Stubbs was USU's top scorer with 21 points. She was joined in double-figures by junior guard Ivory Finley and junior guard/forward Samiana Suguturaga, who went for 13 and 10 points, respectively.
• The Aggies tied their season-high with 14 assists in the contest.
Block Party
• In Utah State's contest at Boise State, freshman forward Gracie Johnson went off for eight blocks to tie the program's all-time single-game record. She's just the fifth player in program history to get eight rejections in a contest, and the first since Deja Mason did so in 2016. It's also tied for eighth in Mountain West history and is the second-most ever by a MW freshman.
• Only five players in NCAA Division I have recorded more blocks in a game this season.
• This was Johnson's second big defensive outing this season, after recording five blocks against UNLV on Jan. 1.
Block Party- Pt. II
As a team against Boise State, the Aggies recorded 13 blocks, just one rejection shy of a program record and tied for the third-best mark in team history.
Chey High
• USU junior guard Cheyenne Stubbs has emerged as one of the league's top offensive threats this season, as the Canisius transfer ranks third in the MW with 15.7 points per game.
• Her 15.7 points per contest rank just outside of the top-10 in program history.
• The 5-foot-5 junior is USU's top scorer, but also leads the team in rebounds (3.9), assists (2.1) and steals (1.8) per outing.
Consistent Buckets
• Cheyenne Stubbs has led Utah State in scoring in 15 of 19 games this season. She's the first Aggie player to post so many team-leading performances since Shannon Dufficy had 18 in 2018-19.
• She has scored in double-figures in 15 games this year, while scoring 20-plus points on five occasions.
Freebies
Averaging 17.5 shots from the charity stripe per game, the Aggies lead the Mountain West in free throw attempts per game. USU also ranks third in made free throws per game with 12.3.
30-Point Club
• Cheyenne Stubbs went off in Utah State's game at UNLV on Dec. 30, finishing with a career-high 30 points in the contest on 7-of-15 shooting (.467) from the floor, 5-of-9 shooting (.556) from 3-point range and 11-of-14 shooting (.786) from the charity stripe.
• She is just the 19th player in USU program history to score 30 or more points in a game, and is the first to do so since Adryana Quezada on Jan. 9, 2022.
• She is also just the 13th player in program history to make five 3-pointers in a game.
