Great Osobor was named the MW Player of the Week and redshirt freshman guard
Mason Falslev was tabbed the MW Freshman of the Week. The duo helped lead the Aggies to a 2-0 start in Mountain West play as Utah State extended its win streak to 13-straight games after defeating Air Force 88-60 and No. 13/14 Colorado State 77-72.
For the week, Osobor averaged 26.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks per game, while shooting 65.4 percent (17-of-26) from the field and 75.0 percent (18-of-24) at the free throw line.
Against the Falcons, the native of Bradford, England, led the Aggies with a career-best 32 points, while adding nine rebounds, four assists and a steal. Against the Rams, Osobor logged a double-double of 20 points and 14 rebounds, while adding three assists, two blocks and a steal.
For the week, Falslev averaged 18.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game, while shooting 63.6 percent (14-of-22) from the field and 77.8 percent (7-of-9) at the free throw line.
Against the Falcons, the native of Benson, Utah, logged 18 points, four rebounds, three steals and an assist. Against the Rams, Falslev tallied 18 points, six rebounds, three assists and a steal.
The Aggies continue their homestand with Wyoming on Tuesday, Jan. 9, inside the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.
