Game Recap: Women's Soccer |
LARAMIE, Wyoming – No. 11 Utah State soccer (12-1-2, 3-1-1 MW) suffered its first loss of the season Thursday afternoon at the Madrid Sports Complex, losing to Wyoming 2-0.

The Cowgirls got off to an early lead when a handball called on USU near the edge of the 18-yard box in the 14th minute set up a Wyoming penalty kick, which found the back of the net. They then tacked on another in the 33rd minute when a volley to the top of the box caught the Aggie defense out of position as a Wyoming header gave Utah State its first multi-goal deficit of the season.

USU was tasked with playing from behind the rest of the way, and despite a few strong chances late in the match, the Aggies were held off the scoreboard.

SCORING SUMMARY
13:58 - Alyssa Bedard (WYO)
                PENALTY KICK GOAL
32:17 - Maddie Chance (WYO)
                Assist: Raegan Richardson
