LOGAN, Utah – Utah State placekicker
Tanner Cragun was named the Mountain West Special Teams Player of the Week and Freshman of the Week for his performance in USU's 27-25 Mountain West win at Wyoming on Saturday night. It is Cragun's first-ever conference honor.

Tanner Cragun, Placekicker (6-2, 195, R-Fr., Frisco, Texas)
- Made a career-long 40-yard field goal on the final play of the game to give USU the win, which was its first walk-off victory via a field goal since 2019.
- Tied his career-high in points scored with nine as he was 2-for-2 on field goals and 3-of-3 on extra points.
- His two made field goals are a career high as he also connected on a 30-yarder and his two field goal attempts tied his career high.
