LOGAN, Utah – Following a record-breaking regular season and a second-straight Mountain West Tournament title, Utah State soccer will now host an NCAA Tournament game for the first time in program history. The Aggies are an 8-seed and will host unseeded Washington in the first round on Friday, Nov. 15, at 2 p.m., at Chuck & Gloria Bell Field.

"We're excited to be in the tournament," said Utah State head coach Manny Martins. "We knew that we would be because we were an automatic qualifier and we knew there was a chance that we could host, but you never know until the selection show comes out. It's great to bring an NCAA Tournament game to Cache Valley for the first time ever. I know our community has been very supportive and excited behind our team and we've been good at home, so we're really excited. Excited to host this game and see where it takes us."

Only the top 32 teams in the 64-team tournament are seeded, and seeded teams host first round games. This is Utah State's fourth NCAA Tournament appearance (2011, 2013, 2023), and its first time being seeded. The winner of USU and Washington will go on to play against the winner of Southern U and 1-seed Mississippi State in the second round. Locations for further rounds of games in the tournament will be determined based on results and seeding.

This will be the third all-time meeting between Utah State and Washington, the Huskies holding a 2-0-1 series advantage. The teams haven't faced off since 2012, a 1-1 draw in Logan.

Second and third rounds for the tournament will be played Nov. 22 and 24, with the quarterfinal round on Nov. 29 or 30. The 2024 Women's College Cup will take place Dec. 6 and 9, at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina.

Utah State has won a program-record 18 games this year with just a single loss as the team is 18-1-4. It is one of just five teams in the country with only two losses, as the Aggies currently rank No. 17 in RPI. USU captured its second Mountain West title and fourth overall conference title in program history this season after winning the Mountain West Tournament last week.

Ticket information for Friday's match will be available shortly on utahstateaggies.com and on Utah State Soccer's social media channels.
