LOGAN, Utah — Utah State football player
Noah Flores has been nominated for the 2024 Burlsworth Trophy it was announced on Tuesday.
The Burlsworth Trophy is awarded annually to the most outstanding football player in American who began his career as a walk-on and has shown outstanding performance on the field. Each nominee must have begun his first season of participation with an FBS (D1) football program without financial aid of any kind from his university's athletic department.
Flores, a redshirt freshman cornerback from Sandy, Utah (Alta HS), walked on to the Aggie roster prior to the 2023 season in which he redshirted. Prior to 2024, Flores was awarded a scholarship and has responded by recording three tackles, including one for loss, across all eight games this season for USU.
Fall Schedule
Utah State comes out of its bye week to play at Washington State on Saturday, Nov. 9. Kickoff time is to be announced. The game will be broadcast on the CW.
