• Utah State is coming off of a team title in the NIT Season Tip-Off last week at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. There, the Aggies took down St. Bonaventure in the opening round 72-67, before defeating North Texas in the championship game 61-57.

Mason Falslev was named the NIT Season Tip-Off Most Valuable Player after averaging 21.5 points and 8.5 rebounds on the week, while graduate guard
Dexter Akanno earned a spot on the all-tournament team.
• Utah State is off to a 7-0 start for just the ninth time in program history. Head coach Jerrod Calhoun is the second coach to win each of his first seven games at Utah State, joining Ladell Anderson who started the 1961-62 season with eight-straight wins.
• The Aggies have opened a season 8-0 just four times (1917-18, 1938-39, 1961-62, 2022-23). The best starts in program history came in 1917-18 and 2022-23, when the team opened each of those seasons 9-0.
• USU is one of just 17 remaining unbeaten teams in college basketball, currently sitting at 7-0. Of the unbeaten teams, just five have played a tougher strength of schedule than the Aggies according to KenPom rankings.
• In the first NCAA men's basketball NET rankings, released this week, Utah State debuted at No. 14. This is the team's highest ranking in the NET since Dec. 22, 2022.
• Utah State is receiving votes in both the AP Top 25 and USA Today Coaches poll. The team spent 17 weeks ranked last season, climbing as high as No. 16 in the AP Poll.
• This will be the 90th all-time meeting between Utah State and Wyoming, a series which dates back to 1930. The Cowboys lead the all-time series 52-37, though USU has won 10 of the past 12 meetings between the sides. In Logan, USU holds a 24-18 series advantage.
• Last season, Utah State earned an 83-59 win over Wyoming in Logan, then picked up an 84-76 victory in Laramie.
