LOGAN, Utah – Utah State head softball coach Todd Judge announced the team's 2025 schedule, featuring five non-conference tournaments, as well as 15 home games and a full slate of Mountain West competition.
In total, Utah State will play against teams from 12 different conferences in 2025.
USU opens the 2025 season by competing in the Texas A&M-hosted Aggie Classic in College Station, Texas, from Feb. 6-8. There, Utah State will play games against Villanova, Texas A&M, Abilene Christian, Baylor and Purdue.
The Aggies then travel to Riverside, California, the following week for the Cal Baptist Classic from Feb. 14-16, where they will take on Seattle, followed by a pair of games against both San Diego and California Baptist.
Utah State will then participate in the Utah Tech Classic in St. George, Utah, from Feb. 21-23, facing UC San Diego, Weber State, San Diego, Utah Tech and Idaho State.
USU will play back-to-back tournaments in the Grand Canyon State, first traveling to Tempe, Arizona, for the ASU Invitational from Feb. 28-March 2. There, it will face Oregon State, Grand Canyon, UTEP, Arizona State and Seattle. The following week, the Aggies will be in Phoenix from March 7-9 for the Purple Classic, facing St. Joseph's twice, then Penn, San Diego and Grand Canyon.
Before starting conference play, Utah State will play a pair of one-off games, first playing Arizona in Tucson on Monday, March 10, before hosting Utah Valley in the team's home opener on Wednesday, March 12, at Laree and LeGrand Johnson Field.
Mountain West play begins at home with a three-game series against reigning league champions San Diego State March 14-16. The Aggies then play at Idaho State on Wednesday, March 19, before hosting Saint Mary's and Weber State on Sunday, March 23, and Tuesday, March 25, respectively.
Utah State will travel to Fort Collins, Colorado, from March 27-29 for a three-game series against Colorado State, then wrap up the month of March with a game at Weber State on Monday, March 31.
USU will then play a pair of two-game conference series, first a double-header on Wednesday, April 2, against New Mexico at Johnson Field, then games on Friday, April 5, and Saturday, April 6, at San José State.
The Aggies will host Idaho State on Tuesday, April 8, before a three-game series at home against Fresno State from April 11-13. USU then travels to Nevada for three more games from April 17-19.
The final home series of the season will be from April 25-27, a three-game set against UNLV at Johnson Field. USU then concludes the regular season from May 1-3 with three games at Boise State.
The 2025 Mountain West Tournament will run from May 8-10, in San Diego, California. The NCAA Regionals are from May 16-18, Super Regionals are May 22-25 and the Women's College World Series is May 29-June 6.
