INDIAN WELLS, California – Utah State's golf team concluded play here on Tuesday at the Wyoming Match Play Championships with a 4-2 loss to UC Santa Barbara.
 
Against the Gauchos, senior John Cook won his match against Rajvir Bedi, 4&3; and freshman Ashton McArthur defeated Blake McGovern, 1UP. Junior Esteban Jaramillo lost his match against Killian McGinley, 3&2; junior Luis Gerardo Cantu lost his match to Will Hoff, 6&4; freshman Enrique Karg lost his match to Nick Waldock, 6&5; and junior Julio Arronte Sanchez lost his match to Brian Arnold, 1&1.
 
Utah State will return to action on Monday and Tuesday, March 18-19, when it competes in the Arizona-hosted Thunderbirds Intercollegiate.
