LOGAN, Utah - Utah State men's tennis (8-1, 0-0 MW) travels to San Antonio, Texas, this weekend for a pair of matches as it will face UTSA (4-7, 0-0 Conference USA) on Friday, March 1, and UT Arlington (5-4, 0-0 WAC) on Saturday, March 2. Both matches will begin at noon (MT).

LAST TIME 
Utah State men's tennis posted a 5-2 home win against Idaho State (6-5). This was the second time the Aggies and Bengals have faced off this season, with Utah State coming out on top both times. The Aggies earned the doubles point to start the match as senior Bodin Zarkovic and freshman Stefan Vendovelli won 6-2 at the second position, while senior Stijn Paardekooper and sophomore Nuno Pinheiro won 7-6 (10) at the first position in a tiebreak to clinch the match's first point. Pinheiro started singles play with a sweep at the No. 4 spot (7-5, 6-3), and at the No. 3 spot, junior Sergi Micó Fenollar won in straight sets (7-5, 6-4). Zarkovic had the match-clinching point as he won at the No. 1 spot in three sets (6-2, 5-7, 6-2). At the No. 2 spot, Paardekooper won in a tiebreak in three sets (6-4, 3-6, 7-6(6)). At the No. 5 spot, Vendovelli fell in straight sets (4-6, 1-6) and at the No. 6 spot, freshman Philipp Rein fell in three sets (6-2, 4-6, 1-0(8).
