• In what was the highest scoring output by UNLV this season, the team shot an efficient 51.5 percent (35-of-68) from the floor, led by a 31-point, nine-rebound, four-assist effort from Desi-Rae Young.

• USU junior guard Cheyenne Stubbs went off for 30 points, six rebounds, four assists and a pair of steals in the game. This was her second-highest scoring output of the season.

• Along with the upcoming scoring mark, Stubbs has made her way into the history books in a few other categories this season.

Against the Top 25

Utah State has played 18 games in its program history against AP Top 25 teams, going 0-18 in those contests. The most recent Top 25 matchup came last season when the Aggies fell to No. 24 UNLV 86-32 in Las Vegas.

Tournament Time

The 2024 Mountain West Basketball Championship takes place from Sunday, March 10, through Wednesday, March 13, at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. The Championship game will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.

What's The Scenario?

• With just one game remaining in the regular season, Utah State's first round seeding and opponent in the MW Tournament is still up in the air.

• First round games will be held on Sunday, March 10. If the Aggies win against UNLV, they will earn the No. 10 seed in the tournament. With a loss to UNLV, the Aggies would fall to the No. 11 seed.

• As the 10-seed, USU would play at 5:30 p.m. (MT), and would face either San Diego State or Colorado State. As the 11-seed, USU would play at 8 p.m. (MT), and could face any of Colorado State, Nevada, San Diego State or Boise State.

Tournament History

Since joining the Mountain West in 2013-14, Utah State is 6-10 in MW Tournament contests. The team's most recent win came in 2022 when the 9-seed Aggies took down 8-seed Fresno State in the first round.
