LOGAN, Utah – Utah State head volleyball coach Rob Neilson announced the 2024 schedule on Thursday. USU will face five 2023 NCAA Tournament teams, including four non-conference foes, in the upcoming season.
 
The Aggies open their season in Salt Lake City, Utah, facing Green Bay on Friday, Aug. 30, and UTEP on Saturday, Aug. 31, on a neutral court. USU then takes on Utah in a road match on Sunday, Sept. 1.
 
Utah State hosts Cal on Friday, Sept. 6, and Purdue on Saturday, Sept. 7, to open its home campaign. The Boilermakers ended the 2023 campaign ranked 13th nationally. 
 
The Aggies then play four matches away from Logan, including three in Los Angeles, California, taking on LMU on the road on Thursday, Sept. 12, Ohio in a neutral match on Friday, Sept. 13, and USC on the road on Saturday, Sept. 14. The Aggies face BYU in Provo on Wednesday, Sept. 18. The Cougars ended the 2023 season ranked 18th in the nation, while the Trojans finished 24th. 
 
USU wraps up non-conference play hosting Utah Valley on Thursday, Sept. 19, and taking on Weber State in Ogden on Saturday, Sept. 21.
 
The Aggies open Mountain West play at home, hosting Colorado State on Thursday, Sept. 26, and Wyoming on Saturday, Sept. 28. USU then hits the road to take on San Diego State on Thursday, Oct. 3, and UNLV on Saturday, Oct. 5. USU returns to Logan to host New Mexico on Thursday, Oct. 10, and Air Force on Saturday, Sept. 12. 
 
Utah State next has a three-match road trip, facing Nevada on Tuesday, Oct. 15, Boise State on Saturday, Oct. 19, and San José State on Thursday, Sept. 24. USU then has a three-match homestand, hosting Fresno State on Saturday, Oct. 26, Nevada on Tuesday, Oct. 29 and Boise State on Thursday, Oct. 31. 
 
The Aggies are back on the road the following week, facing Air Force on Thursday, Nov. 7, and New Mexico on Saturday, Nov. 9. USU plays its final 2024 home games on Thursday, Nov. 14, hosting UNLV, and Saturday, Nov. 16, hosting San Diego State. Utah State wraps up the regular season on the road, taking on Wyoming on Thursday, Nov. 21, and Colorado State on Saturday, Nov. 23.
 
The 2024 Mountain West Championships are set to begin on Wednesday, Nov. 27, while the NCAA Tournament begins on Saturday, Dec.  7.
