LOGAN, Utah - Utah State men's tennis (15-4, 2-1 MW) continues its 2024 spring season by hosting Nevada (11-8, 4-2 MW) Friday, April 11, at noon, and UNLV (8-7, 1-0 MW) Sunday, April 14, at noon. Prior to the start of the UNLV match, the Aggies will be honoring their two graduating seniors, Bodin Zarkovic and Sitjn Paardekooper.

LAST TIME
Freshman Mohammad Alkotop posted a straight-sets win at No. 6 singles (6-3, 6-4) to break a 3-3 tie and give Utah State a 4-3 Mountain West home win against Boise State last weekend. The Aggies earned the doubles point to start the match as graduate senior Bodin Zarkovic and junior Sergi Micó Fenollar posted a 6-3 win at the second position, while Alkotop and junior David Martirosian notched a 6-1 win at the third position. BSU tied the match at 1-1 following a straight sets win at No. 4 singles. Senior Stijn Paardekooper then posted a three-set win at the No. 2 spot (6-2, 3-6, 6-0) to give USU the 2-1 advantage. BSU tied the match again after a straight sets win at the No. 3 spot. Zarkovic followed with a three-set win at the No. 1 spot (6-4, 1-6, 6-3). The Broncos again tied the match following a straight sets win at the No. 6 spot. And Alkotop clinched the match for USU by posting a straight sets win at the No. 5 spot (6-3, 6-1). The Broncos earned their points by posting wins over Fenollar at the No. 3 spot (6-4, 1-6, 2-6), sophomore Nuno Pinheiro at the No. 4 spot (3-6, 4-6) and freshman Philipp Rein at the No. 6 spot (3-6, 4-6).
