LOGAN, Utah – Former Utah State defensive tackle
Hale Motu'apuaka (Huh-lay Mow-too-uh-poo-uh-kuh) has received an invitation to participate in the Indianapolis Colts rookie mini-camp in May.
Motu'apuaka, a 6-foot-1, 290-pound defensive tackle, earned honorable mention all-Mountain West honors as a senior in 2023 as he started 12 games and finished the year with 32 tackles (14-solo, 18-assist), which included 3.0 sacks and 5.5 tackles for loss, to go along with four quarterback hurries.
Motu'apuaka, a native of Honolulu, played in 58 games during his USU career, which ranks second all-time in school history, while his 40 career starts are tied for the seventh-most. For his career, he recorded 114 tackles (46-solo, 68-assist), which included 10.5 sacks and 22.0 tackles for loss.
