LOGAN, Utah – Utah State women's basketball and head coach Wesley Brooks announced the team's non-conference schedule for the 2024-25 season on Monday.
The Aggies' non-conference slate will consist of 12 games and one exhibition, including four contests at home, six on the road and two at a neutral site. The schedule is highlighted by a Thanksgiving week trip to Daytona Beach, Florida to compete at the Coast 2 Coast Women's Basketball Classic.
"We're very excited about the upcoming season. We feel that our schedule will be very competitive and that it gives us a chance to grow and to succeed," Brooks said. "We're especially looking forward to games versus Utah and Colorado, as well as competing in the tournament in Daytona Beach."
The Aggies' 2024-25 campaign opens with an exhibition game at home against Westminster on Friday, Oct. 25. Utah State then officially begins the season with three-straight games inside of the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum. USU will host Kansas City on Monday, Nov. 4, CSUN on Friday, Nov. 8, and Cal State Bakersfield on Thursday, Nov. 14.
The team will then begin a stretch of nine-straight games away from home when the Aggies travel to the Centennial State to face Northern Colorado on Sunday, Nov. 17, and Colorado on Tuesday, Nov. 19. USU travels to face Omaha the following week on Tuesday, Nov. 26.
Utah State will spend Thanksgiving in Daytona Beach, Florida, where it will compete at the Coast 2 Coast Women's Basketball Classic. The Aggies will play games on Friday, Nov. 29, and Saturday, Nov. 30, in a non-bracketed tournament. The full field, as well as Utah State's matchups, will be announced at a later date.
USU will travel to Salt Lake City to face Utah on Thursday, Dec. 5, in what will be the 38th all-time meeting between the in-state foes, and the first meeting since 2017. The Aggies then wrap up the road portion of their non-conference ledger with games at Grand Canyon on Sunday, Dec. 8, and at Idaho on Sunday, Dec. 15.
Non-conference play concludes at home for the Aggies when they host UC Riverside on Wednesday, Dec. 18.
