LOGAN, Utah – Under the direction of interim head coach Nate Dreiling, Utah State football will begin fall camp on Friday, Aug. 2. All practices – minus two scrimmages – will be closed to the public.
Fans are invited to watch Utah State's first scrimmage on Saturday, Aug. 10, at 11 a.m., and its final scrimmage on Saturday, Aug. 17, at noon, as part of its annual Family Football Fun Day. Both scrimmages will be held on Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium.
Media availability for coaches and players will occur immediately following practice.

Utah State returns 12 starters (O-7, D-5) as part of 35 letterwinners (O-18, D-13, S-4) from last year's team that posted a 6-7 record, tied for sixth place in the Mountain West with a 4-4 mark, and concluded its season playing in its 11th bowl game in the past 13 years against Georgia State (L, 45-22) in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in Boise, Idaho.
Along with 35 returning lettermen, Utah State welcomes back 17 redshirts (O-8, D-8, S-1) and five other returners (O-4, D-1) that were members of the program in 2023, while adding 51 newcomers (O-22, D-28, S-1), which includes 23 four-year transfers, 15 junior college transfers and 13 high school players.

Jalen Royals and junior S
Ike Larsen. Royals earned first-team all-MW accolades and was named a College Football Network (CFN) Third-Team All-American in 2023, while Larsen also garnered first-team all-MW accolades and was named a CFN Honorable Mention All-American. Two more Aggies earned honorable mention all-MW honors last season in Davis and Lane.
Royals and Larsen were also named to the 2024 MW Preseason team.

Utah State opens the 2024 season on Saturday, Aug. 31, as it hosts Robert Morris and begins Mountain West play at Boise State on Saturday, Oct. 5.
