LOGAN, Utah – Utah State football will be participating in the Mountain West Media Days, which is being held on Wednesday and Thursday, July 10-11, at Circa Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev.
Interim head coach Nate Dreiling, who is entering his 10th year as a collegiate coach, along with graduate senior quarterback
Spencer Petras (San Rafael, Calif./Marin Catholic HS/Iowa) and junior safety
Ike Larsen (Smithfield, Utah/Sky View HS) will represent Utah State at this year's meetings.
Student-athletes from all 12 Mountain West programs will meet with the media on Wednesday, while the head coaches will meet with the media on Thursday.

Utah State returns 12 starters (O-7, D-5) as part of 35 letterwinners (O-18, D-13, S-4) from last year's team that posted a 6-7 record, tied for sixth place in the Mountain West with a 4-4 mark, and concluded its season playing in its 11th bowl game in the past 13 years against Georgia State (L, 45-22) in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in Boise, Idaho.
Along with 35 returning lettermen, Utah State welcomes back 19 redshirts (O-9, D-9, S-1) and five other returners (O-4, D-1) that were members of the program in 2023, while adding 45 newcomers (O-18, D-26, S-1), which includes 22 four-year transfers, 11 junior college transfers and 12 high school players.

Jalen Royals and junior S
Ike Larsen. Royals earned first-team all-MW accolades and was named a College Football Network (CFN) Third-Team All-American in 2023, while Larsen also garnered first-team all-MW accolades and was named a CFN Honorable Mention All-American. Two more Aggies earned honorable mention all-MW honors last season in Davis and Lane.
