Men's Basketball 1/13/2025 5:47:00 PM
• Utah State is off to a 16-1 start and is 6-0 in Mountain West play. The team's .941 winning percentage is the best in the nation. The Aggies are one of five teams with a single loss and are the only squad with 16 wins.

• This is USU's second 6-0 start to league play since joining the Mountain West, the other coming in 2020-21 when it won its first nine conference games.

• Aggie head coach Jerrod Calhoun has won 16 of his first 17 games at the helm of the program. His 16 wins are the most among first-year head coaches in Division I this season. He is also one of just three coaches in Division I in the past decade to begin their tenure at a new school 16-1 or better, along with Danny Sprinkle at USU last season and Tommy Loyd at Arizona in 2015-16.

• USU climbed three spots in both the AP Top 25 and the USA Today Coaches Polls this week, checking in at No. 22 in each. This is the 11th season in school history that Utah State has achieved a national ranking.

• Utah State is 79-25 (.760) all-time as an AP ranked squad.

• The Aggies are 7-0 away from home so far this year, winning four true road games and three neutral site contests.

• USU currently holds a 7-1 record against Quad 1 and Quad 2 opponents. Only six teams in the country have more combined Q1 and Q2 wins and only four have more total Quad 1 wins.

• Currently 16-1 for the second-straight season, this is tied for the third-best start to a season through 17 or more games in program history. The Aggies opened the year with a program-best 10-straight wins.

• The Aggies are one of just two teams in the country with four players averaging at least three assists per game. Drake Allen leads the way with 3.9 helpers per game, followed by Mason Falslev (3.5), Ian Martinez (3.2) and Jordy Barnes (3.0).

• Utah State ranks No. 31 in the NET rankings and is the highest ranked team in the Mountain West.

• This will be the 50th all-time meeting between Utah State and UNLV, a series which began in 1983. The Rebels lead the series 34-15, including a 19-5 record over USU in Las Vegas. The Aggies have won six-straight and 10 of the past 12 meetings, including an 87-86 win in Las Vegas last season.
