Box Score FRESNO, California – Utah State women's basketball lost, 74-54, to Fresno State on Wednesday night at the Save Mart Center.

The Aggies opened the scoring with a layup from freshman guard Elise Livingston off of a steal-and-assist from freshman guard Carlie Latta. The Bulldogs then leapt in front with an 8-0 run before USU returned serve with a 6-0 burst to tie the game at 14. A Fresno State 3-pointer capped the first quarter and sparked a 10-2 stretch from the Bulldogs to retake control early in the second quarter en route to building a 14-point lead entering halftime.

In the second half, a pair of 3-pointers from Livingston and Latta helped Utah State trim the deficit back down to 10 points on several occasions early in the third quarter. The Bulldogs again responded, this time going on a 10-1 run which ultimately proved too large a deficit to overcome.

Senior guard Cheyenne Stubbs led the Aggies with 16 points and added three rebounds and a steal. Latta finished second on the team with 14 points while shooting 5-of-11 from the field and adding a team-high four assists and three steals. Livingston also finished in double figures with 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting, including 2-of-4 from behind the arc. Freshman forward Karlie Banks, making her first career start, added seven points and tied for the team lead in rebounds with Livingston, each bringing down five boards.

USU shot 20-of-53 (37.7 percent) from the field with a 5-of-22 (22.7 percent) showing from 3-point range. The Aggies also went 9-of-14 from the free throw line.
