LOGAN, Utah - Utah State men's tennis heads to Las Vegas, Nevada, to compete in the ITA Mountain Regional Championships. The six-day tournament opens with singles qualifying rounds, where 16 of 64 players will advance to join 48 automatic qualifiers in the main draw. Main draw singles and doubles play will follow, continuing through Monday, Oct. 20.

Venger led the Aggies with an impressive performance, earning a 6-1, 6-2 win over San Diego State's William Kleege and a 6-2, 6-4 victory against Santa Clara's fourth-seeded John Kim to advance to the quarterfinals.
Goubin and Alex each tallied wins in qualifying to reach the main draw, as Goubin cruised past BYU's Alexander Edmonston (6-3, 6-0) and Alex battled to a 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 victory over UC Irvine's Nathaniel Suh. Sophomore
Eliot Nobel added to Utah State's success in extra matches, securing a 6-4, 7-5 win over BYU's Hardy Owen.
