Box Score LAS VEGAS, Nevada – Utah State men's tennis wrapped up play at the ITA Mountain Regional Championships, highlighted by a semifinal finish from junior Jean-Baptiste Badon and strong performances throughout singles and doubles play.

Badon led the Aggies with an impressive run in singles, earning wins over Air Force's AJ Moore (6-4, 6-4), Utah's Maximillian Relic (6-1, 3-6, 6-3), Boise State's Filip Soderqvist (7-5, 6-4), and Denver's No. 10 Samuel Rovai (6-4, 6-1) to advance to the semifinals.

In doubles, Badon and sophomore Xavier Calvelo teamed up for two victories, defeating Montana State's Yassin Elaroussy and Camille Chantron (8-5) and Idaho's seventh-seeded Chetanna Amadike and Gabriel Moroder (8-6) to reach the Round of 16.

Sophomore Roman Venger, seeded eighth, opened with a 6-2, 6-3 win over BYU's Alexander Edmonston, while Calvelo added a 6-4, 6-3 victory against BYU's Adam Chodur. Sophomore Eliot Nobel battled for a three-set win against Montana's Duncan Mccall (6-4, 2-6, 6-4), and freshman Brody Nejedly-Krall earned back-to-back qualifying victories before adding a 6-3, 6-2 win in consolation play.
