• Utah State is 57-40 (.588) all-time in Mountain West play, including a 32-18 (.640) home record. USU has the third-best record against MW opponents since it joined the league in 2013. Boise State (86-18) has the best record, while San Diego State (66-33) has the second-best record.
• Utah State first-year head coach Bronco Mendenhall has a 44-15 (.746) Mountain West record over seven seasons at BYU (2005-10), New Mexico (2024) and Utah State (2025-). He ranks fifth all-time in wins and sixth all-time in winning percentage in league history. He was named the MW Coach of the Year at BYU in 2006 and led the Cougars to consecutive MW titles in 2006 and 2007.
• Mendenhall owns a 144-92 (.610) career record and has led 16 of his 18 teams to bowl eligibility, which ranks second among active FBS coaches. His 144 career wins rank as the fifth-most among active coaches at the FBS level.
