Sam Merrill, G, Cleveland Cavaliers — Merrill is in his sixth season in the NBA and fourth with the Cavaliers. Merrill was not active due to injury during Cleveland's three games last week, in which the Cavaliers went 1-2. Merrill, who started Cleveland's first four games this season, ranks 12th in the league with a 51.4 3-point percentage.
Neemias Queta, C, Boston Celtics — Queta is in his fifth season in the NBA and third with the Celtics. Boston went 2-2 last week, with Queta averaging 8.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 0.8 blocks per game during that stretch. Queta, who has started each of Boston's eight games, ranks eighth in the league in blocks with 11 and 12th in offensive rebounds with 21.
Darius Brown II, G, Cleveland Charge — Brown is in his second professional season, both with the Charge. Cleveland will open the 2025-26 NBA G-League season on November 7 against the Iowa Wolves.
Taylor Funk, F, San Diego Clippers — Funk is in his third professional season and first with the Clippers. San Diego will open the 2025-26 NBA G-League season on November 8 against the Stockton Kings.
Dexter Akanno, SF, VET-CONCEPT Gladiators Trier — Akanno is in his first professional season and first with the Gladiators of the German BBL. Akanno was not active during Trier's 96-87 win over Vechta on Nov. 2.
Dan Akin, PF/C, Kolossos BC — Akin is in his third professional season and first with the Greek Basketball League's Kolossos. Akin scored nine points and grabbed 10 rebounds in Kolossos' 78-76 win over Panionios on Nov. 1.
Justin Bean, F, Alba Berlin — Bean is in his fourth professional season and third with Alba Berlin of the German BBL. Alba Berlin went 2-0 last week, with Bean averaging 10.5 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game in those games.
Diogo Brito, G, Monbus Obradoiro — Brito is in his fifth professional season and first with Monbus Obradoiro of Spain's LEB Gold. Brito scored eight points and collected five rebounds in Obradoiro's 79-75 win over Oviedo on Nov. 1.
Kris Clark, G, Nakhchivan — Clark, who has been playing professional basketball since 2008, is in his first season with Nakhchivan in the Azerbaijani Basketball League. Clark did not play in Nakhchivan's 86-78 win over Guba on Nov. 1.
RJ Eytle-Rock, G, EJ Sligo All-Stars — Eytle-Rock is in his third professional season and first as a player-coach with the Irish Men's Super League's EJ Sligo All-Stars. The All-Stars lost to Neptune on Nov. 1, 79-75.
Aubin Gateretse, C, Limburg United — Gateretse is in his first professional season and first with Limburg United of Belgium's BNXT League. Gateretse scored three points and collected three rebounds in Limburg's 91-83 loss to Den Helder on Nov. 2.
Brandon Horvath, C, BC Gargzdai-SC — Horvath is in his fourth professional season and first with BC Gargzdai-SC of the Lithuanian Basketball League. Gargzdai lost 94-87 to Nevezis on Nov. 3, with Horvath scoring six points and grabbing two rebounds in 19 minutes.
Ian Martinez, G, Elitzur Yavne — Martinez is in his first professional season and first with Elitzur Yavne of the Israeli National League. Martinez scored 29 points and added seven rebounds, three assists and two blocks in Yavne's 100-94 win over Elitzur Shomron.
Chris Smith, G, Hiroshima Dragonflies — Smith is in his 10th professional season and his first with Hiroshima of the Japanese B1 League. Smith averaged 20.0 points and 5.3 rebounds per game during the Dragonflies' three games last week, where they went 1-2.
