• Utah State hits the road for the first time of its 2025-26 campaign this weekend as it travels to Frisco, Texas, for a neutral site matchup against VCU.

• USU opened its season on Nov. 3 with a dominant 110-54 home victory over Westminster. In what was the ninth-largest margin of victory in program history, five Aggies scored in double-figures led by senior guard MJ Collins Jr. Utah State connected on 19 3-pointers and had 32 assists on 42 made baskets in the win.

• The Aggies are coming off of a strong campaign in head coach Jerrod Calhoun's first season in Logan, going 26-8 overall with a 15-5 record in Mountain West play to earn a trip to the 2025 NCAA Tournament. USU finished the year third in the league standings.

• Utah State returns five letterwinners from last year's squad, including All-Mountain West Second-Team guard Mason Falslev. During his sophomore campaign in 2024-25, Falslev averaged 15.0 points to go along with team-bests of 6.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.3 steals per contest.

• USU welcomes in 10 newcomers to this year's squad, with five transfers and five true freshmen. Transfer additions include fifth year forward Garry Clark (Texas A&M-CC), senior guards MJ Collins Jr. (Vanderbilt) and Kolby King (Butler),  senior forward Zach Keller (Utah) and junior forward Luke Kearney (Air Force). Freshmen include guards Elijah Perryman (San Francisco, California) and Brayden Boe (Beaverton, Oregon), wings Kingston Tosi (Anchorage, Alaska) and Adlan Elamin (Arlington, Virginia) and forward David Iweze (Roanoke, Texas).

• The Aggies were picked to finish second by the league's media in the MW preseason poll, behind only San Diego State. This is USU's highest-projected finish since being picked first in 2019-20. Additionally, Falslev was named to the preseason all-conference team.

• Utah State ranked in the top 50 in the nation in several major statistical categories last season, including assist/turnover ratio (11th - 1.60), assists (14th - 17.1), field goal percentage (20th - .484), scoring margin (24th - +9.9), winning percentage (23rd - .765), turnover margin (28th - +3.1), bench points (32nd - 27.68), fastbreak points (33rd - 13.18), steals (35th - 8.6), scoring offense (40th - 79.9) and turnovers forced (49th - 13.79).

• USU is 0-1 all-time against VCU, with its only other meeting coming in an 85-69 loss in November of 2020 at the Bad Boy Mower Crossover Classic in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
