• Utah State heads to Salt Lake City this weekend for a neutral-site showdown against Missouri Valley Conference-foe Illinois State on Saturday, Dec. 13, at the Delta Center.
• Since the start of the 2021-22 season, Utah State is 18-2 in regular-season neutral-site games. The Aggies are 3-0 at neutral sites this season, including an 80-77 win over VCU in Frisco, and wins over Tulane (96-75) and Davidson (94-60) at the Charleston Classic.
• Utah State opened the 2025-26 campaign 7-0 before suffering its first loss. This was the 10th 7-0 or better start in program history, and the third in the past four years. USU head coach Jerrod Calhoun is the only head coach in program history to start his first two seasons at the helm 7-0 or better.
• Utah State debuted at No. 22 in the first NET rankings of the season, released on Dec. 1. The Aggies currently sit at No. 34, and are one of seven MW squads in the top-100.
• Senior guard MJ Collins Jr. scored 40 points in the Charleston Classic championship game vs Davidson on Nov. 23, a new tournament scoring record. He became the first Aggie to score 40-plus points in a game since Jaycee Carroll in 2007, and just the 11th USU player to ever reach that mark.
• As a team, Utah State currently ranks fifth in the NCAA in steals, averaging 11.4 per contest. The duo of Mason Falslev and Drake Allen each rank among the nation's leaders in takeaways — Falslev ranking eighth in the country with 2.89 steals per contest, Allen ranking 16th with 2.63.
• Drake Allen currently ranks in the top-30 nationally in both assists and steals, with 5.9 helpers (30th) and 2.63 takeaways (16th) per game.
• Utah State currently ranks in the top 75 in the nation in several major statistical categories, including steals (5th - 11.4), turnovers forced (18th - 16.56), turnover margin (23rd - +5.7), scoring margin (25th - +18.2), field goal percentage (25th - .507), winning percentage (28th - .889), assists (29th - 18.7), fastbreak points (32nd - 17.00), field goal percentage defense (38th - .392), scoring defense (46th - .664), assist/turnover ratio (48th - 1.57), 3-point field goal defense (63rd - .368) and scoring offense (65th - 84.7).
